I was a bit weary spending so much on this brush being unsure of the quality of the bristles. Happy to report that they are of good quality, indeed real boars hair, soft and the perfect stiffness. Makes me wonder why they don't use these dark bristles on detail brushes. Quite a few bristles shed off during the first use, normal I suppose from manufacturing. But more bristles have continued to shed off, though not as much. Hopefully the shedding will stop. The long handle is a helpful. The plastic seems to be solid, but some softer bumpers around the head of the brush would be an improvement as it's easy to bump that hard plastic head against thing.
