Easy to use, works great in multiple buckets and very easy to clean when finished.

THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR ANYONE WHO WASHES THEIR CAR. To be used in a 2 bucket system. Where the grit guard is inserted in a 5 gallon bucket consisting only of water. Another bucket is used containing the quality car wash soap. Soak wash mitt in detergent bucket, gently clean section of vehicle. Agitate mitt in grit guard bucket, once mitt is free from dirt, repeat steps. If the water in the grit guard becomes soiled completely empty the grit bucket and refill it. This method will have you needing to use much less soap, and you will reduce the number of scratches and swirl marks that is produced from washing

I originally had some trouble to find buckets to fit, then I stumbled across branded paint buckets from that big orange home supply warehouse store @ around $3.50 each.

It says good for 3.5 to 7 gallon buckets, but I have a certain 5 gallon bucket that this item won't even fit through the top of. Anyway, it's not a big deal at all - just make sure you have a couple of large 5+ gallon buckets.
