Chemical Guys V34 Optical Grade Hybrid Compound is the mid-grade compound that eliminates light to moderate paint defects and imperfections from super hard paints, then finishes like a fine polish. V34 is formulated for fast cutting with optical grade diminishing abrasives that restore old paint finishes and freshly-painted panels.
The advanced compound cuts through moderate paint defects, swirls, scratches, and oxidation, then finishes with superior luster fit for final polish steps on harder paints. V34 Optical Grade Hybrid Compound is the first mid-grade compound that works on scratch-resistant and ceramic clear coat finishes. The diminishing micro abrasives work fast with true-cut accuracy; there are no fillers, so the results you see are the true results you get. The optical-grade abrasives quickly remove 1500-2000 grit sanding marks and moderate defects and scratches. V34 makes short work of wash & dry swirls, tree branch scratches, fingernail marks on door handles, paint scuffs, faded paint, and hazy headlight plastic. Pair V34 with a rotary polisher for an aggressive cutting combination to take down moderate defects quickly, or use V34 with a dual action polisher for fast cutting action that’s safe for any paint type and finish. V34 cuts away light to moderate swirls, scratches, oxidation, and wet sand marks, and refines the finish to an acceptable final step polishing level for most harder paint finishes.
Directions:
Work on cool surface. Shake well. Always work 2’ x 2’ section at a time.
DA Application:
- Apply 4-5 drops to desired pad.
- Prime pad with Chemical Guys Pad Conditioner.
- Spread on speed setting 1. Set DA machine to speed setting 5-6.
- Using moderate pressure, work area in 2-3 passes until compound becomes clear.
- Follow with light pressure to finish. Remove residue with clean microfiber cloth.
- Follow with V36 Optical Grade Hybrid Compound for perfect clarity.
Rotary Application:
- Apply 4-5 drops to desired pad.
- Prime pad with Chemical Guys Pad Conditioner.
- Set machine to between 1000-1500 rpms to spread product. Work in 2’ x 2’ section at a time.
- Using just the weight of the machine (no pressure) work area in 3-4 passes until compound becomes clear.
- For final pass adjust speed setting to between 1200-1800 rpms. Work until optical clarity is achieved.
- Remove residue with clean microfiber cloth. Follow with V36 Optical Grade Hybrid Compound for perfect clarity.
