My dry faded black plastic was restored to a consistent dark matte black after 1 (one) treatment. I found disposable gloves and applicators to be useful as it was an oily material. The results were as described and expected from Solution Finish.

Save your money

Tried this on my 2903 Chevrolet Avalanche with badly faded plastic cladding and it lasted a couple of weeks. It’s junk.

This Solution should work.

This product contains a dye which will darken or restore the BLACK TRIM on your car or truck. My trim wasn’t really faded but this product will keep it deep black and that is what I want. Make sure the trim is cleaned well before using. I would expect decent durability on most trim. Highly recommend following the instructions.
